Lobster207 buys lobster in what's called "Boat Run" - this means that each box contains a mixture of different sized lobsters.
"You buy them the way we buy them" Each Boat Run Box will contain lobsters in a variety of sizes - Chix, Quarters, Halves & Culls (one clawed lobster)
Live Maine lobster is hand-caught off the coast of Maine. During certain times of the year, the catch will vary. We work hard to sort through to deliver exactly what you ordered. At times, when the catch is limited, we have to get creative. We always select in your favor and you will receive the weight in lobster that you have ordered. Rest assured, your lobster experience will be amazing.
Your package will contain Live Lobster that was hand selected, special, to fill your order. It is advised that they are cooked on the day of delivery.
Please DO NOT put them in fresh/tap water! Without proper salinity and temperature control they will die. It is best to leave them in the original packaging and slide into the refrigerator or store in a cool place until ready to cook.
If you find it impossible to eat them today, it’s okay! Cook them as directed, refrigerate (put in an air-tight container to prevent dehydration) and eat them within three days. Boil them in unsalted water for three minutes to reheat. Enjoy!
